Masala Bell Pepper (Capsicum) – Manjula’s Kitchen

Bell pepper is also called capsicum or shimla mirch. Masala bell pepper with nice mix of spices, makes a really fulfilling facet dish. This may complement any meal. Masala bell pepper might be served with roti, paratha or puries. I take pleasure in this with facet of dal fry and plain rice.

  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder (haldi)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon mango powder (amchoor)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice


  1. In a small bowl combine many of the spices, coconut powder, sesame powder, coriander powder, fennel seeds powder, crimson chili, turmeric, salt, and sugar. Put aside.
  2. In a large frying pan warmth the oil reasonably over medium excessive warmth, add cumin seeds as seeds crack add asafetida. Add bell pepper combine properly decrease the warmth to low medium. Cowl the pan and let it cook dinner for about 3 minutes.
